It is available in 256GB or 512GB capacity. The storage performance of the NVME SSD provides up to 10x faster read and write data transfer speeds compared to traditional Micro SD card storage solutions. This provides quicker boot times, swift application loading and smoother overall system performance. Note that an M.2 HAT+ is required, as well as compatible case and cooling for Raspberry Pi 5. The Raspberry Pi SSD will arrive without any software (factory blank), except for the CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 8GB Desktop PC that includes the Raspberry Pi 64-bit OS pre-loaded.
